Drawing classes, fitness classes, resident groups, theater offerings, live music, writing group, P.R.E.S.T.O., lectures, and so much more. There is always something to chose from here at EastView, and always someone around to share the adventure.

M I N D

We offer Great Decisions in the winter and the Political Luncheon series in the summer. Great Decisions is a series of eight lectures given by experts in political science and foreign policy. The Political Luncheon Series is a series of six presentations given by a Middlebury College professor, focusing on the current political climate in the U.S. and abroad.

Our residents frequently audit classes at Middlebury College – and there are endless opportunities to attend lectures, plays, operas, and theater offerings both at the college and in the greater Middlebury community.

EastView offers Book Groups, a Bridge group, a Writing Group, along with a variety of intellectually stimulating speakers, films, and discussions throughout the year.

B O D Y

Our residents enjoy daily exercise classes, including FUNctional Fitness with Kimberly Cobb, Seated Yoga with Ambika, Tai Chi, Advanced Tai Chi, and Bone Builders, plus unlimited access to our Fitness Room. Who needs a health club?

Our resident Hiking Club explores a variety of Vermont’s trail systems, all summer long. And the TAM (Trails Around Middlebury) Trail is just up the street.

With nature surrounding us, there are endless opportunities for biking, birding, walking, and cross-country skiing, right from your door.

Our Meditation Group meets weekly and is facilitated by a resident Zen priest.

We have a monthly Eucharistic Service, along with weekly transportation to area churches.

We offer art classes, a free-writing group, and daily opportunities for connection with neighbors and friends.
