When you move to EastView, you gain the convenience and security of health care support and a growing set of options for delivery of care, even for independent living residents, in your own home. We can assist with telehealth appointments, and help connect residents with specialists or tap our enhanced services when a little extra support is needed such as a ride to a medical appointment.
We recognize at EastView that each person’s health needs ebb and flow. Within our Residential Care license, we’ve secured the ability to provide certain types of healthcare to residents living in our Independent Living apartments without moving to either of our two full-service health care neighborhoods. Instead, if enrolled in our Floating License program, our care professionals assist in the Resident’s IL apartment. Who might use this service? Someone recovering from a significant illness or surgery, or someone who needs help managing medications or might benefit from a care partner to assist with managing a chronic disease or hospice care. We have the agility to support a diversity of needs.
Residential & Memory Care
The extensive services offered through individualized care plans within our residential healthcare partnership is offered in two intimate neighborhoods. Our focus in MeadowSweet is to provide progressive support of activities of daily living (ADLs). These basic self-care tasks include walking, dressing & grooming, feeding, toileting, bathing, and transferring. Daily, we are respectful partners, striving to assist each resident in maximizing, maintaining, restoring or supplementing his or her independence.
In our GardenSong neighborhood, we provide compassionate, resident-specific support for individuals living with declining cognitive health usually due to some form of dementia. Our Health Services Director offers regular training for our caregivers in a specialized approach for care delivery to those living with cognitive decline. Our daily focus is ensuring that each resident’s basic comfort and self-care needs are being met.
In each of our Health Services neighborhoods, we also provide all residents with a wide array of behind-the-scenes instrumental services to enable them the greatest opportunity to devote their time and energy to enjoying their day and their friends, family and neighbors. We manage medical appointments, provide transportation and laundry services, host a daily calendar of engaging programs and activities, provide all meals and snacks, and keep each resident’s apartment or studio clean and tidy.
